MY STORY

Hello! I'm Annie and welcome to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am so thrilled you dropped by today!

I'm a southern gal transplanted from a small rural town in eastern North Carolina. My husband's job took us to Alabama, then Utah, and eventually settling just outside Seattle, Washington. Despite the rain, we love this area and plan to retire somewhere around here. I have been married to my best friend for 34 years and we have three beautiful children! I became a WAHM when my first child was born 27 years ago. Money was extremely tight back then, so I started selling my country creations at fall craft shows to help make ends meet. Although I never became rich from it, it sure helped pay for many a Christmas.

A few years ago I discovered the wonderful world of primitive crafts. I enjoy creating a large line of primitive ornies and tucks. My style has more of a rustic primitive flair and I love using my numerous tucks, along with my flea market and thrift shop finds, to create a "new finish from an old beginning." Except for my tucks and ornies, most of my creations are one of a kind. However, if you see something you like and it has already been sold, contact me and I may be able to come up with something similar.

Everything you see on here is handmade by me! I truly believe in buying handmade and buying items made in America. I take great pride in everything I make and I hope it shows in the quality of my work. So come on in, check out my past posts by clicking on the links at the bottom of this blog, and make sure to visit my other sites by clicking on the tabs above.  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Come back soon! ~~Annie
