Well, the vacation is over and I'm back sewing! I really don't like creating for Valentine's Day! I mean, not a whole lot more to come up with than hearts, hearts, hearts! So guess I have to change them around a bit to get a little variety. Wont' be doing a lot for Valentine's Day, but just thought I'd share a few of what I just finished up.
Annie, love all the hearts! I am taking down my decorations to but it will be slow, everything I do these days is slow! lol Change is good you are so right.

You're right a heart is a heart...your interpretations are quite lovely...particularly interesting to me is the l-o-n-g heart on a stand! I used to drive my husband nuts (sort of *smile*) with my desire to create a "new" space by rearranging things! I agree change is good...a new day, a new way!
ReplyDeleteYour hearts are always too cute! Did you notice the stack of hearts in my recent post? Do they look familiar?? :)
ReplyDeleteMy dd birthday is on Valentine's Day so for the first 4 or 5 birthdays she always had a heart shaped cake. I finally got over that and since then she's had regular birthday cakes.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Hugs~ Birgit
I am about to make a Valentine swap in the group and it will be hearts of course..Ya gotta admit they are pretty simple..Yours always look great :)
ReplyDeleteHi Annie,

I took down decorations today too, but still not done. Hopefully, will finish up tomorrow. I leave out anything that has a red ribbon or scarf till valentine's day.

Morning Annie! Well you are right there is not much for Valentines other than "hearts, hearts" but I'd say you created a really good and adorable variety of them!!! I'm not a cupid fan so hearts it is!! I want to get in my sewing room and create a few of my own! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm having a hard time getting back in the swing of things but your nice comment helps!! Have a fun day - Jeannette
ReplyDeleteHi Annie,
ReplyDeleteI just love the hearts, it's hard to imagine that Valentines day will be here soon. We did get snow and lots of it. It was beautiful but the warm up after was nice too.
Happy New Year,
Sallie
