Just a Little Sharing!

Just wanted to get on here real quick and share a few photos. My friend, Shelley, and I drove up to Bothell, WA, yesterday. There is a little "village" of shops there and it is the neatest place. It's called Country Village Shops and boasts shops with names such as "Garden of Beadin'", "Moondog Embroidery" and "Red Rooster Eatery and Tea Co." But I must give credit to Gina, from Cat Nap Inn Primitives. She's the one that told me about this place. I can't believe I'd never been here or even heard of it before. Thanks, Gina...got any other places I don't know about?

This was the nicest little quilt shop. Oh my!!! What beautiful fabrics they have! I think I could have spent the whole day in this shop alone!

Loved the outside of this little "caboose" shop.
Ran up on this fellow and his girl! He had the most beautiful colors. He was a loud one, too. Could hear him crowing even inside the shops!

This was a nice antique shop there. Lot's of great eye candy in there! That big ol' washtub brought back memories of hot summer days. My mom would fill our washtub with water for me to use as a "sitting" pool! I may have to drag out the picture of me sitting in it from waaaaay back then!

A couple of other photos from there! I'm headed back there with hubby on a pretty Saturday morning. Lots of little shops that weren't open and it was a little rainy. Can't wait to see how it bustles on a pretty weekend.
Wanted to share this pic of where hubby and I ate this past weekend. Mother Nature has been so kind to us the last couple of weeks. This was a great little pancake house in Bellevue. Had to wait for a seat but didn't mind at all. They had plenty of park benches out front and it was just gorgeous out there!
And last, I wanted to give you an update on my new kitty. He's loving his new home and has pretty much taken over. Trixie has settled down and I think she finally has accepted him as a new member of our family. They will actually play together now, chasing each other around the house. This was one of their first moments together without her hissing, swatting or arching her back at him!

And this is one of Harley's favorite places to sit! That's definitely got to change.

Hope everyone is having a great week! When my son reminded me there was no school next Monday because of Memorial Day weekend, I couldn't believe it! Where HAS this year gone! If I'm not back on here before then, hope you all have a fun, safe and beautiful holiday weekend! ~~Annie

I'm glad to hear that your little fur babies are warming up to each other. They're so cute snuggled up to each other like that. :)
