A Couple of Easter Listings!

I just fell in love with this fabric when I saw it and knew it would make the perfect set of Easter egg tucks! The fabric is just filled with beautiful pastel colors in a tye-die print! I had a hard time deciding whether I should stain these because I didn't want to take away from the colors. But the colors are still there. I may have to make another set and leave them unstained...we'll see.

Below is a pretty little Easter egg shelf sitter. It has a very dense filler that allows it to sit nice and flat. Some things I like puffy and will use a different type of fiberfill for those things. But with this egg I wanted to have that firm fill. This egg is made from a quilted piece of linen and stained with a coffee and spice mix. Underneath the cheese cloth bow is a little gathering that I made from sweet annie, pip berries and grapevine twigs. I used a large rusty safety pin to pin this on. Sometimes I hide the pins, sometimes I don't. I really like the rustic feel this gives the egg. And look at that sweet little prim tag.

I chose to show this one as a shelf sitter. But I think it would also look nice hanging on the wall, a door or a cupboard knob. I made one a couple of weeks ago similar to this one and added a loop from rusty wire to the top of the egg. It was sold as a hangin'. Here's a picture of that one. Yep...same piece of linen--opposite ends. I'm working on some Easter eggs from this same piece. It will have all the colors from both of these larger eggs.

I have several Easter and spring projects in the works. So make sure to check back often. You can find both the tie dye Easter eggs and the Egg shelf sitter in my store at Olde Annie Primitives. Thanks for dropping by today. I welcome and love your comments!
