New Fall Gatherings

Just finished up several new items for my website and wanted to share a few with you. I LOVE making little arrangements, or gatherings, using old finds from thrift stores. Here's a couple of fall gatherings I finished up last night.

This is a cute little gathering using an old rusty tin cup. It has sweet annie, pip berries and two little cinnamon coated pumpkins in it.

I just love how these spiced pears turned out. This is an old oval bucket I found at a GW. I took five pears, also picked up at GW, and covered them with cinnamon. I made a little label for the front of the bucket and "stained" it with vanilla and cinnamon. Then finished it off with a little homespun bow. Smells yummy! I also made a large gathering using my muslin fall leaves. It turned out SO pretty! But you'll have to check out my website to see that one!

And this is one of my newest pin keeps that I just finished. I just love making these from vintage looking fabrics. This is a triple decker, sewn together and stained. I trimmed each cushion with large jute cording. This makes a nice little shelf sitter and smells so nice!

Still have lots more fall items to finish up and list, and I'm going to start listing lots of Christmas here shortly.

I want to thank everyone who signed up to receive my newsletter. September's just went out and I held my first monthly ornie drawing. I will be contacting the winner to let her know she won. If you haven't signed up yet, go up there under Cecil, my crow, and sign up. (He's pretty nice and shouldn't bother you.) I will be drawing a new name first day of each month!

Can't believe it's September! Fall is in the air, my son goes back to school tomorrow and I will soon be dragging out all those boxes marked "Fall/Halloween Decorations". Fun, fun, fun!

Did you find any good prim shops on the coast?
I am coming out next month to Oregon and my sister said we could go to the coast again...I love it there, you all are lucky to live in the Northwest!
